Pretty things

I'm going to try something. It has a high possibility for failure, but I'm going to try anyway. There are a few blogs I read on a regular basis, and one of my favorites is Bluebird Vintage. The girl who writes it is basically awesome, and I kinda of want to be her. Anyway, she does this thing each Sunday, "Oh You Pretty Things." Each Sunday she chooses 10 things or people or pictures or ideas that she thinks are pretty. So I'm going to give it a try, but I'm not going to give it a date, or a number of things. I'll try once a week, but other than that, it'll most likely be when I am bored or trying to avoid doing something else.

So there you have it, a few things I think are especially pretty. Hopefully I will be able to do this often, but it's a lot of work. Now of to my Saturday evening plans of seeing "Proof" at Portland State University.

Money. The driving force of the world. These days at least. So it sucks royally when you don't have any. It sucks even more when stupid things you don't normally need to spend money on, suddenly, all at the same time need to be addressed.

My current list of things I was not expecting to be paying for.

• New computer battery- $65 (well $15, my mom had a $50 gift certificate)
  
• Italian Renaissance Art History Books- $78, $30, $15 (originally what I was going to use the gift certificate for)
• Parking Ticket- $40 (I put the sticker on the wrong window of the car. It says I have to pay it before I can contest it. DUMB.)

I believe that is all. For now. That all occurred within a few days, so hopefully that is all that the new year is going to be bringing me.

With all of that being said, I feel like this year will go faster than I want it to. There will be a lot of growing up this year I have a feeling and I'm really not looking forward it. I would like my mommy to take care of me forever and ever and ever.

I would like to make some of these lights however. I might need someone to drink the wine for me, but I think these are really cool.
